The Cult of LEGO is, indeed, a marvelous new book from No Starch Press. I’ll be reviewing it over the next few days here on The Brick Side, from a webcomic perspective, and also a bit more on the academic side on my Duckingham Design website.
The short of it is: This book is a great way to introduce your friends and family to the idea that LEGO bricks are more than just a toy … for many, LEGO toys are a way of life. Much like we understand there is a “Cult of Mac”, there is a growing “Cult of LEGO.”
The book goes on sale very soon; you can order The Cult of LEGO directly from No Starch. It’s hardcover, and you get a free PDF of the book if you order that way, or you can get just the PDF. A less-expensive alternative, though you don’t get the PDF, is to order from Amazon.
